21 Jun Brushing shoulders with the big names at the BBC Good Food Show
Last week, we had the honour of exhibiting at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham alongside British food royalty such as Ainsley Harriot and Mary Berry, introducing so many new people to our cannabis tea.
We had a busy four days meeting new people, attending talks and handing out 410,000 millilitres of tea – or around 1,700 cups per day.
Among the friendly faces we met throughout the event were the Irish vegan duo The Happy Pear, who have amassed over 300,000 subscribers on YouTube with their delicious-yet-accessible vegan recipes. They were running a vegan seminar which was a useful guide for those trying to cut down on their meat consumption.
You might have seen us on their Instagram story handing them a pack of our individually bagged cannabis tea – hope you enjoyed it, guys!
Another famous face we ran into was none other than the spicy king himself, Ainsley Harriot, who was signing books and demonstrating throughout the weekend. We snapped a picture with the chef and even gave him a pack of CBD tea to take home.
We also managed to get our CBD tea into the hands of Mary Berry and Michel Roux Jr, two of the biggest names at the show.
In other news, we were featured in The Guardian’s Green and Ethical Checklist last week alongside some other brilliant environmentally friendly brands. Our teabags are biodegradable, and we have worked hard to make sure they are packaged using recycled materials.
We’re also pleased to announce that you’ll be able to find Body and Mind Botanicals tea at Glastonbury Festival next weekend! This marks the first time that cannabis has been sold legally at the festival and we’re so proud that it’s our individually bagged tea.
Glastonbury takes place from June 26th– 30thand our tea will be available at the Tiny Tea Tent.
