Ingredients

Ribeye Steak

Montreal Hemp Steak Rub

Butter - Tablespoon

Salt - Teaspoon

Pepper - Teaspoon
Method
Remove Steak from Fridge at least 30mins before cooking
Add a coating of Montreal Hemp Steak Rub to one side - approx 1-2 teaspoons
Pre-heat frying on high and add butter
When the butter has melted, test the heat by flicking a few drops of water in the frying pan, it should instantly zizzle if hot enough and then put the steak in the frying pan seasoning side down.
Add the salt and pepper to the non seasoned top side then leave the steak alone, do not move it or squash it.
Fry for 2-3 minutes, then carefully flip over.
Add a teaspoon of butter to the now cooked side of steak and allow it to melt into the steak.
Fry for 2-3 minutes more for a rare steak. Take out of the frying pan and leave to rest for 5mins whilst finishing off your sides.
To cook to medium or well done, finish off in the oven 180°C Fan assisted for: 5 minutes Medium or 10mins Well done
Cooking times vary depending on steak thickness, our tip is go hot and quick for a delicious texture and taste that melts in the mouth.
